“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” — Confucius
This is the first post, and I think diet is the perfect place to start.
I am currently working to become fully raw. This means that I don’t eat
anything that has been cooked, or a product of an animal. Everyone
agrees that fruits and vegetables are healthy for you, so eating more
of them makes sense. Your health can improve and your energy level. If
you want to improve your life, then you need to be at your full energy
level. Changing your life is not an easy process, but if you don’t have
the energy then the process becomes even harder.
The first step
Transforming your life into something better is hard. If you can change
your diet, then this shows willpower. Most people would find it easier
to change their religion rather than their diet. Raw food takes a lot
of commitment. Just deciding to only eat raw food for the rest of your
life can be a hard decision to make, because there are many doubts. The
testimony is hard to argue with though, many people feel a lot better
on a raw diet. Just think if you can change your diet to something few
are able to do. This can give you the motivation to accomplish your
other goals.
So, how do you do it?
A little at a time. You don’t have to go raw over night. You can take little steps each day.
- Substitute one meal a day into raw
- Integrate more raw foods in with the cooked foods.
- Find foods you love that are raw, and try to make raw meals center around them
- Slowly replace the cooked foods in your kitchen with raw foods.
- Don’t try to do too much too fast. You’ll only get burned out and quickly find yourself eating cooked foods again.
If you want to make a good dive into self improvement, look at your diet to propel you into the rest of your goals!
Cheers
